Later that afternoon, they offered the rapper a job.
They even made sure to follow up.
The rapper tweeted Saturday that he was US$53 million in debt, and sent a plea to Facebook's CEO for US$1 billion to invest "into Kanye West ideas."

A former Facebook software engineer pointed out that Kanye might have a bit more luck with Zuckerberg if he didn't ask for money on Twitter.
A Minneapolis man has also started a crowdfunding campaign to raise money to pay down Kanye's debt.
"We must be the Medici family to Kanye," the GoFundMe page reads.
