NBA All-Star Kevin Love Fronts Banana Republic's Spring 2016 Campaign

He fronts the brand's spring 2016 campaign.

Kevin Love is gearing up for a pretty big deal off the court.

The pro basketball player is teaming up with Banana Republic to be the brand's inaugural brand ambassador, and will appear in the retailer's spring 2016 campaign, which debuts across all brand channels beginning on March 8.

"Banana Republic is such a classic brand and I am excited to be chosen as the first athlete ambassador for the brand," said the three time NBA All-Star in a statement. "Since I am always on the move, it is important that my clothes are not only stylish, but are functional as well. Banana Republic absolutely hits the mark on both."

The Cleveland Cavaliers power forward first teased the news on Instagram, inviting fans to guess his newest project. He then officially revealed the news with a behind-the-scenes snapshot on set.

"Excited to announce I'm partnering with @bananarepublic this year," he captioned the pic. "Check out exclusive outtakes from our first shoot that they’re sharing today."

Banana Republic's spring 2016 collection will be available in stores and online starting March 8th.
