If you've ever been tempted to try Googling "Why does butt hair exist?" you aren't alone.
According to SciShow host, Hank Green, it's one of the most frequently asked questions on his YouTube videos, and unfortunately, there hasn't been a lot of research on the topic.
But that doesn't stop Green from sharing some theories about the purpose of butt hair in the video above.

In the 4:31 minute video, Green notes three different theories from faulty design to friction, hypotheses which run the gamut from fairly reasonable to just plain funny.
