Toronto was host to many fashion heavyweights Friday evening for the 2016 Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards.
The annual ceremony and gala, which is considered the "Oscars of Canadian Fashion" honours outstanding Canadian designers and fashion talent, while celebrating the Canadian fashion industry as a whole.
Hosted by "Sex and the City" star Kim Cattrall and held at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto, the evening saw notable guests such as Coco Rocha, Karlie Kloss, Jay Manuel and Maripier Morin, among others.
Also in attendance was Sophie Grégoire Trudeau who shut. It. Down. in a Mikael D jumpsuit complete with a backless cape.
Big winners of the night included Greta Constantine for Womenswear Designer of the Year, UNTTLD for the Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent, Fashion, Herieth Paul for Model of the Year and Jason Wu for International Canadian Designer of the Year.
And the recipient of the Vanguard Award Presented by Hudson’s Bay was none other than supermodel Elle Macpherson.
