Because really, what's Baywatch without CJ Parker? After rampant speculation, Dwayne Johnson took to Instagram late Thursday to confirm that Pamela Anderson is an official cast member of the "Baywatch" reboot.
"She introduced the world to 'CJ Parker' and became one of the most iconic characters of a generation - for the most successful TV show of all time," he wrote.
"A pleasure to welcome (as gorgeous as ever) Pamela Anderson to our#BAYWATCH cast.
We couldn't have made this movie without you. Welcome home. Thrilled you had a blast with us!"
Anderson appears in the big screen remake but in a completely different role. Instead, model Kelly Rohrbach will play Parker.
Also starring in the film are Zac Efron, David Hasselhoff, Priyanka Chopra, supermodel Charlotte McKinney and Alexandra Daddario.
Baywatch aired during the 1990s and went on to become one of the most watched TV shows in the world.
The film opens May 19, 2017.
