A crucial question was posed in the new "Gilmore Girls" trailer.
At the end of the teaser for "A Day in the Life," Lorelai (Lauren Graham) asks daughter Rory (Alexis Bledel) if a certain British comedian would find her attractive.
"Do you think John Oliver would find me hot?" she asks.
The host of "Last Week Tonight" had an emphatic answer for Graham's character on Wednesday while speaking to Stephen Colbert.

“Lorelai, the answer is yes, I do find you hot,” Oliver says.
“And I’ll tell you why: I’m a red-blooded male with an in-built heat detector, and my heat detector registers you as en fuego.”
There you have it. Now all we need is for Oliver to be included as a very awkward love interest in the series.
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" will debut on Netflix on November 25, and will consist of four 90-minute chapters representing the seasons of the year.
