Marble Nail Art: Get A Perfect Marble Mani Right At Home

You're going to want to try this.

A marble nail art design always looks chic and adds the perfect touch of detail to your ensemble. And while it may look complicated to achieve, it's actually quite simple.

The secret? Water and perfume.

In the video above, Tee of Fashion. Food. Flair. walks us through how to easily get a marble mani right at home. After establishing the base for her design, Tee fills a cup with room temperature water, and adds a few drops of a nail polish that's darker than her base. She then sprays the water's surface with perfume, which swirls the polish and results in a marble design. She dips her nails in the marble solution, and voilà! She has the perfect marble nail art.

Pretty nifty, right? Here's the finished look:

Here's what you'll need to follow along with Tee's tutorial:

  • White nail polish
  • Clear top coat
  • Plastic wrap
  • Light grey nail polish
  • Mod Podge (or another craft glue or clear tape to keep the area around your nails tidy)
  • A cup of water
  • Dark grey nail polish
  • Perfume
  • Nail polish remove
