Calgary Crime Stoppers has released an updated list of their most wanted offenders for December 2016.

"A person of interest is anyone wanted on outstanding criminal warrants for which they can be arrested, who is actively evading capture, and who poses a risk to police and/or the community or who is prolific," says the Calgary Police Service website.

Offenders may be wanted for the severity of a single offence, while others may be wanted due to the prolific nature of a crime or number of outstanding warrants, say police.
