Facebook has launched a campaign titled "Why I'm Voting" -- showcasing the issues that matter to 50 prominent Canadians who will be casting a ballot on Oct. 19. With participants including business leaders, athletes and activists sharing photos and videos about important issues that are inspiring them to vote, we urge Canadians to follow suit and make their vote count.
Check out some of the submissions below and visit the Facebook Canada page to see the full album.
Additionally, Facebook and Elections Canada are teaming up to give Canadians across the country the chance to share that they've voted in the Election. The "I'm A Voter" button will appear in the Facebook News Feed of Canadians age 18+, giving them the option to either share that they are voting with their friends and family, or click through to the Elections Canada website for more information.
Proudly tell your friends and family that you voted by clicking on "I'm A Voter" on Monday, Oct. 19.
