Are you working out but stopped losing weight?

This can be very frustrating. But it can happen when you've mastered your existing workout. So don't beat yourself up rather be happy that you are ready to move to the next level.

So what's the answer to losing weight again?

You have to change things up!

If you've been doing the same exercises in the same order for the same amount of reps then chances are your body will remain the same.

Sorry to be the one to tell you this but if you want results then it is time to seriously change things up. My clients know that no 2 workouts are the same with me which is why they get results. Here are some ways you can do that as well:

SPLIT YOUR MUSCLE GROUPS

If you've been doing the same full body workout then consider splitting it up. Do lower body on one day and upper body the next. This will obviously shorten your workout time in which case you want to add (yes, add) a few more exercises to really feel a burn! So if you are only doing squats and lunges then consider adding reverse lunges and hamstring press ups as well.

ADD CARDIO

Do you know what can intensify your workout and make you burn more in the same amount of time? Adding cardio bursts. My clients hate me for making them do jumping jacks and shuffle runs between their squats but guess what? It really works and they are all dropping weight!

CHANGE THE TEMPO

Simple and effective! If you are doing bicycles for your abs a little slower then you will get a bigger burn = more definition. If you are going faster then you will likely get your heart rate up and burn more calories. Here is a simple rule to follow - if you are lifting medium to heavy weights then go slower as you don't want to injure yourself. If you are doing body weight stuff then no problem, feel free to pick up the pace!

The key to really getting results is to always change things up and pair your exercises in a way that will challenge you. That way your body responds and you get awesome result! If you want the think-free solution to this then consider my 9 week workout plan which follows this exact principle and will get you awesome results!
