We're on to the flatlands of Saskatchewan this week. I thought instead of picking a price point, I'd have a look at what an average home costs in Regina.

We're on to the flatlands of Saskatchewan this week. I thought instead of picking a price point, I'd have a look at what an average home costs in Regina.

Renovated Character Home - $335K

Everything in this cute family home has been lovingly restored. Complete with a large back yard for the kids to run around in.

New-build Character style - $350K

Nine ft. ceilings, huge living room, master bedroom with walk-in-closet and ensuite. There's also a balcony off the master that overlooks the soon to be landscaped yard.

Old world charm - $430K

Built in 1929, this home has been lovingly maintained and updated over the years. Original gum-wood floors, crown mouldings, custom kitchen, three large bedrooms and a generous, private back yard.

Classic Vancouver: old and run down - $970K

Notice the cute detail above the front door? That's about all the character or charm there is here. Looks like nobody's snatched this one up, though, as there's snow on the ground in the photo. Hmmm can't imagine why not??
