If you are like me, you try to find super foods that are not only super for you but taste delicious. After all, aren't we supposed to enjoy what we eat? Many of the fresh fruits we associate as 'summertime' treats are also some of the most beneficial in terms of their 'functional' benefits!
It's summer, and we are all showing a bit more skin to keep cool. Our skin reflects what is happening inside our bodies, and I see so many people spending money and time to improve its appearance. The foundational pieces need to be in place, or it is an uphill struggle!
Aside from the thorns, I love berry picking and I pick many a pail full for fresh eating, jam, syrup, pies, and berry toppings. This recipe can be made as a whole dessert in a low casserole or pie plate, or baked in individual serving dishes. The fresher the berries, the better the cobbler!
