There will be hearing aids, prosthetic limbs, and service dogs.
It took years to get someone to hear my pleas for safety.
We are lacking critical information on the diverse and often unmet needs of this group, as well as the out-of-pocket costs paid for by families.
Stop telling people what they need. Ask them — and then listen to the answers.
