holiday season

We like to spice things up a bit...especially during the holiday season. So this year we've decided to bring one of our favourite spices into the spotlight, and we have a feeling that you will be doing the same after you see all of the deliciousness we have in store for you!
For many the month is packed with running around shopping malls (like a lunatic), spending money (you don't have) and eating all of the food (all of it). We rarely remember to take care of the most important person in our lives: ourselves.
We've put together a list of our Top 10 Holiday Drinks that will turn you into the hostess with the most-ess this year as you welcome family and friends. Whether you're hosting a large get-together or a cozy night by the fire, there's something on this list for every occasion that will surely make it extra special and oh-so-delicious!

We can be steeped in tradition and obligation and feel overwhelmed by the expectations family holidays can bring. There may be that feeling that someone else is driving what we feel is expected of us during a holiday celebration. Could be family, friends or neighbours.
Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are right around the corner. In light of these fast-approaching festivities, we've got a smorgasbord of tasty recipes that will be sure to satisfy your children, your children's children, your aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins and even your pet whom you sneak a little somethin' to under the table.
The countdown is on. But if going out for another extravagant and way-too-expensive New Year's Eve party with a bunch of strangers has lost its appeal or simply isn't your style, there's still time to pull off a fun evening at home.
