In this writer's experience, voters and consumers are forgiving. They are profoundly aware of the tendency of humans to have human failings, being human beings themselves. And, as long as mistakes are not being made all the time they will forgive and forget and move on.

Social media and internet services continue to evolve as the demand for content and the ways in which it is consumed rapidly changes. As a result, the post-digital era is headed towards curated content. Targeted ads, smart newsfeeds and personalized content delivery are becoming the norm.
Full disclosure: I'm not a Kim Kardashian fan. But in today's day and age, it's hard to escape the Kardashian-Jenner clan (especially as a fashion writer), because let's face it, whether we love or loathe them, we all have a certain fascination with the royal family of reality TV.
You may not like them, but the Kardashians have done plenty of good in the last decade.
The Internet is without a doubt one of the greatest innovations of our time. It, along with social media, has allowed us to connect with loved ones and like-minded people. However, it has also created a climate where humiliation, trolling, and cyberbullying are as easy as standing on a virtual soap-box and snidely tapping a few keystrokes for the world to see. We each need to play our part in acting with empathy and compassion.
Rather than feeling like you can never indulge or be social, be mindful of your choices. Pay attention to how much food you put onto your plate. You likely already know which foods you can load up on (think green veggies) and others that require more moderate portions and self-restraint (like the guacamole and tortilla chips).
So the other night I was watching Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons (yes, I admit I watch their shows!) and I noticed Khloé wearing some really cute sweats. I live in sweats and had to find out more. Could I wear sweatpants to the supermarket and still look on trend?
