The warm rays of summer are almost upon us and we have something very serious to discuss with you: Wedding season! Yes, in a little over a month bells will begin ringing, champagne corks will be popping and at some point you'll be in the middle of a dance floor singing "Shout" at the top of your lungs. But whether you're planning one, attending one, or maybe even crashing one, here's an ironclad roadmap of some of the most noteworthy venues along your 400 series wedding travels.

Easily one of the biggest venues in the GTA, Paramount weighs in at approximately 63,000 sq. ft. spread out over five separate rooms. The Main Ballroom alone is over 16,000 sq. ft. and can accommodate over 1,200 guests at one time. This room also comes equipped with a private lobby area that has two bathroom banks, two full bars, multiple coat checks and best of all, built-in traditional-style pizza ovens and food stations.

Ever wanted to attend a 2000 person wedding? Boasting six elegantly decorated wedding halls, the Mississauga Convention Centre caters to any size wedding party ranging from 40 to 2,400 people. Even when hosting large events, reviews have spoken volumes for the attentiveness and professionalism of their event staff.

There's some debate on whether the French or the Italians are the embodiment of romance. With Chateau Le Jardin you get beautiful and sensual French Victorian décor in the heart of Woodbridge -- literally the best of both worlds. And while the aesthetics are important, yelpers have also reported that the food here is top notch.

Riviera Parque (Concord)

What about the food? The Riviera may specialize in Italian, Spanish, Greek, French and various other European cuisines but they also work with outside catering companies to ensure their Chinese, Afghan and South Asian clients get the best of the best as well. That said, if you eat too much at dinner, they've got four halls, a restaurant and a nightclub for you to explore while you 'walk it off'. Alternatively, you may prefer sitting by their lobby fountain instead.

One of the seasoned veterans of this group, but certainly not one to be overlooked, Le Treport has been hosting Mississauga weddings for 30 years. Pair that level of experience with their brilliant lobby chandelier, classic baby grand piano and soon to be complete renovations, and you've got a recipe for another 30 years right there!

Hidden within the Joseph and Wolf Levobic Jewish Community Campus just north of Rutherford along Bathurst is this stunning new contemporary event venue. While the eclectic kosher cuisine and stunning main room chandelier are top shelf, you can't beat the complimentary underground parking for those colder winter nights.

The Manor (Kettleby)

Set amongst the stunning greens of Carrying Place Golf & Country Club alongside a picturesque body of water, you'll find The Manor. This recently renovated 34,000 sq. ft. facility boasts 3 massive banquet halls, as well as bartenders trained in the art of Flair Bartending. Want a low-key sample experience? Locals know their Sunday brunch buffet is second to none -- the perfect stop on the morning after.

If you're driving in Brampton and see something that resembles a palace straight out of a Bollywood movie, you might be looking at the Grand Empire. And while the outside is stunning, it's what's inside that will wow guests; white glove butler service in the washrooms, imported marble flooring, and a state of the art lighting system that allows you to choose a colour theme for both inside and outside the venue. If that doesn't convince you we're sure the 16x30 ft. massive curved salt-water aquarium in the foyer will do the trick.
