"Ricotta may be easy to make in-house, but not every kitchen should; it's rare to find it as
dreamily creamy as this whipped goat cheese with Maldon salt and crostini.... [The Chef] likes to show off, but he knows how to keep it simple," says Musgrave.

I'll vouch for Les 400 Coups. My recent meal there was sublime. The ambiance, the service, the wine list, the food, and it's exquisite presentation, all combined to make one of my most memorable dining experiences ever.

Sad. Three Small Rooms was wonderful. Many celebrities used to go there for the finest of dining

Three Small Rooms at The Windsor Arms Hotel closed awhile ago. If you want a great place to go try Mistura Restaurant, it's north of Yorkville

When I am in Toronto, I eat there at least a few times

Thanks. Sad. Best dining in Canada in my opinion. Used to go there very often. Saw Morty and many celebrities there. La Castille was in Mississauga on Dundas. It was great as a steakhouse. Thanks again If I ever get to TO I'll try it

"Challet floats tantrically through labour-intensive courses, plopping shrimp frite into a whispery
yet intense fish soup... "

Gag me. Is it possible to write more pretentiously?

" . . . floats tantrically . . ."?? Plop your shrimp frite elsewhere, pal. I love great food by I'd rather eat a burrito or a burger any day.

Do these 'critics' ever get off Air Canada's flight routes. What a pathetic representation of Canada's best restaurants.

The best chefs usually flock to larger cities where there are more people and more money. That's just the nature of the restaurant business in North America.

Calling your fancy restaurant "The Slaughterhouse" may be a bit over the top, but, give it a French translation and voila!
