Our story on the shocking ultrasound that looked like a man's face on a testicular tumour sparked a slew of submissions by HuffPost readers.

It’s amazing what can appear before our eyes as we’re driving, making jelly or just looking up into the sky.

One reader saw Jesus on the back of a van, another thought he saw a dragon just above the horizon in the dark. We did see the
Jesus image clearly. It took us a while longer to make out the mysterious creature.

So here are some of our top picks of reader pictures in the photo gallery below.

Nephomancy or aeromancy is using the clouds for divination purposes. Very revealing about your mindset if you choose to pursue it. Revealing about the external world, not so much.

It's not about seeing God - our brains are hardwired to find patterns and look for order in un-orderly things. It's the same thing as laying back and looking for shapes in clouds - you're bound to find some kind of shape no matter what cloud you look at.

Isn't it ironic that Jesus shows up in such amazing places as Denny's omelettes and yet fails to show up when Father Murphy is ready to attack an altar boy?

Some people are so desperate to prove that their god is real to themselves that anything can be a "sign" from god. The lack of intelligence of the religious scares the crap out of me.

Well, its been a few hundred years since Christians decided to get on boats and attack someone for the sake of their religion. Are you still worried? Do you think there might be some other threats that might be a bit more imminent? Are the missionaries that knock of your door every once in a blue moon that aggressive? Do you think you might be blowing this out of proportion?

The one with the rays coming from the horizon just looked like a pretty photo with some interesting clouds.
Most were a real stretch. And why does it always seem to be some religious figure?

When one takes a scenic photos--like mountains--through the closed car window, then it's pretty easy to get a reflection from something in the car in the photo, too.

The cloud in the shape of a wolf or dog's head was cool, I will admit. So was the photo of the rays at sunset over the ocean--but I saw nothing but a pretty picture.

I'm one of those people who sees faces and figures and animals in anything and everything. The grain of a wooden door, the loops in towels, rugs, clouds, fabrics, folds, tree leaves and trunks. When we remodeled our bathroom, before we took the (ugly) blue and white swirly formica-like shower surround down, I took photos of all the shapes I'd been seeing in it.

I like using them as starts for drawings or paintings. But in all of these years of seeing these things, I've never ever seen a jesus, a mary, an angel or anything resembling a religious figure.

Guess people just see things which connect to what's in their heads.....

I wonder if Christ's disciples, when they looked at him and squinted, could see clouds, cappuccino foam, mildew stains and cheese sandwiches?

That doesn't look like an image of Jesus. It's look like an Abu-Gharib torture victim.

What makes people always think it's the image of Jesus they're seeing? It's not like anyone really knows what he looked like.

And the one thing we are sure he *didn't* look like is the popular image of him with white skin, soft flowing brown hair and blue eyes.
07:05 PM on 11/04/2011

They're just relating shapes and colors to the popular image of Jesus. Jesus is undoubtedly a cultural icon. You can see his picture - the images most frequently used to depict him - pretty much everywhere.
