Michael Jackson Tribute: Cirque du Soleil Wows Dancing With The Stars (VIDEO)

WATCH: Cirque du Soleil Wows DWTS With Jackson Tribute

Montreal's Cirque du Soleil wowed a huge North American audience Tuesday night on the results show for Dancing with the Stars, the massively popular reality dance contest on ABC.

Cast members of Cirque's Michael Jackson: The Immortal tour, took to the DWTS stage in flapper costumes for Smooth Criminal and funky jumpsuits adorned with neon lights that glowed to the beats of Billie Jean.

A YouTube video of the performance is trending in Canada, even though some fans wanted more of the performance (said Washington Post blogger Emily Yahr: “Save money on the glow-in-the-dark costumes and add some more acrobats doing crazy things in the air.”)

Still, you couldn't ask for better PR with Immortal beginning the American leg of its world tour this week. The show is now playing in Seattle.

The tour has crossed Canada and closed out Vancouver on the weekend, where Vancouver Sun critic Francois Marchand described it as a "whimsical, eye-popping extravaganza aimed to please fans and non-fans alike."

Writes Marchand:

It was a concert that wasn't really a concert, a circusthemed show that wasn't really the circus. And while it was a multimedia, multi-disciplinary spectacle worthy of the King of Pop, The Immortal World Tour makes Jackson's absence from the stage and from his fans' lives all the more glaring.
