Look, when you have a stick shoved up your derriere, you don't look to see if there's a broom at the other end. You know what is happening to you and Martin's outrage is appropriate. Moreover, there's nothing wrong with the word, 'jackboot' so why all the fuss?

What amuses me is the fact that people are outraged about him using swear words and not capitalizing God when he has actually brought up a fundamental flaw in our democracy. Its the 21st century folks, people curse when they get pissed off!

So all you dipper supporters who support Pat on this, what was in the budget that you want changed?
Anyone even know what's in it, or even know this flap was about the budget?

Congratulations Pat! I'm not surprised that you ended up firing the first salvo of this kind. This is about the only way to get the attention of the Canadian public; it is as if they anointed the Conservatives when they gave them the majority-anointed them in such a way that they no longer ,being god-like, have to listen to debate or consider other views. This is precisely as Stephen Harper had planned it. He will run roughshod over the process that encouraged involvement and input from all MP's. And, he'll have lots of support from his caucus because they are not allowed to do anything other that what Harper says they can do. And, in the Senate we have the compliant little minions who'll not provide sober third thought-remember the bill they killed without even debating it clause by clause? This is as Stephen would have it. What is the only counter, short of anarchy, that the opposition has? To get f%6789in' well pissed off and to lambaste these Conservatives without concern for civility. Let 'em have it just like we would hear on the wharves, in the dockyards, in the pool halls, in the kitchens of this country; taking the gloves off might raise the ire of enough Canadians to get them involved in demanding more openness and consideration of all viewpoints in a meaningful discussion of proposals of all kinds.
