With the Oscars less than a week away, some people may be filling out ballots or prepping for the red carpet. But us? We're thinking about the snacks.

In honour of this year's nominations for Best Picture, including "War Horse," animated "Hugo" and Brad Pitt's latest, "Moneyball," ice cream chain Cold Stone Creamery has created nine recipes to celebrate some of this year's most talked-about films.

And if you're feeling a bit guilty drooling over these recipes -- don't. Some studies say eating ice cream once a day can help you lose weight. At least, this is what we're telling ourselves.

Even if your favourite film doesn't end up with an Oscar, you can make sure your recipes turn out to be winners. Take inspiration from these for Oscar night:

In the movie "Hugo," an orphan named Hugo lives within the walls of a train station. Let's just say we wouldn't mind being trapped in this creation.
TRY IT: Cake Batter ice cream sandwiched between chocolate chip cookies (bought or homemade) and rolled in rainbow sprinkles.
