Kate Middleton has become one of the most recognizable people on the planet. Her sister Pippa is just as pick-out-of-a-crowd worthy -- she's quickly become one of the most photographed women in the world.

And now, the Middleton sisters have earned another honour: TIME magazine has dubbed them two of the most influential people in the world.

The reason for their selection has a lot to do with the way women aspire to emulate the pair -- sartorially, of course.

From Kate's thrift-store shopping sprees to Pippa's bikini body, ladies the world over can't seem to get enough of the newest members of the Royal Family.

The stories speak for themselves: sales of coral jeans reportedly soared in England after the Duchess of Cambridge donned a pair to play field hockey; a Burberry coat Kate once wore sold out within a day; and Pippa's behind has inspired a butt-lifting surgery.

All of this and the pair have remained relatively scandal free -- save for the current Paris/gun scandal Pippa is wrapped up in.
