No matter how cool it may be inside, summer heat definitely deters me from carefully blow-drying and straightening my naturally curly hair—and it looks like J.Lo is embracing her curls this summer, as well.

Of course La Lopez has a team of people who could give her daily blowouts but we're happy to see the pop star and actress looking a little more Jenny from the block.

Not that getting beach-y ringlets with even the curliest hair is always easy. Most of us need a little curl encouragement and frizz-fighting to look as good as Jennifer. Some of my favourite products are:

AG Hair Recoil Curl Activator

This Canadian product promises to moisturize and maintain your curls while separating even in summer humidity. It can be mixed with AG's Liquid Varnish for a softer hold and more shine.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Spiral Style Spray Gel

Don't let the word "gel" scare you. John Frieda's formula is anything but sticky or crunchy. It has a lightweight texture that promises 24 hours of J.Lo-worthy curls.

Aveda Be Curly Curl Enhancer

Aveda's Be Curly tames frizz, adds shine and intensifies curls. It's part of a four-step curling system that also includes shampoo, conditioner and Style Prep, a cuticle-sealing pre-styling product.
