Calgary Stampede French Anthem Controversy: Twitter Reacts To O Canada Flap

Calgary Stampede organizers are struggling to explain themselves after French verses were dropped from O Canada before the chuckwagon races this weekend.

While those in charge are now saying French will be brought back, that isn't stopping Twitter from sounding off on whether a unilingual anthem was a good idea in the first place.

So far, users seem to be divided between those who think a majority English city should be able to do what it pleases and those who see it as an example of bigotry and ignorance.
