Soccer Announcers Meet Hockey Highlights (WATCH)

WATCH: Soccer Announcers Meet Hockey Highlights

CORRECTION: The accent of the announcer at the 1:45 mark in the video was incorrectly identified as Scottish. The announcer has a 'Geordie' or Newcastle accent.

Few things can match the sheer exuberance and excitement of a good soccer announcer calling a dramatic goal. The crescendo builds until the magic word, GOOOOOOOAAALLL, rings out across the land.

So what happens when you mash-up soccer announcers with some razzle dazzle hockey plays? It might sound something like this video uploaded by YouTube user Logiano1.

We're quite enamored with the call on the Jason Spezza to Kyle Turris goal at the 1:45 mark.

"As electrifying as a hair dryer thrown into the tub," the announcer says. "He puts the Haitian voodoo rattle on this one then he finishes. Like Betamax, they don't make them like that anymore," he adds with his best Scottish brogue.

Your move Bob Cole.
