Brenda Mines Plane Crash: New Photos, Video Of B.C. Site, Jayson Dallas Wesley Smith ID'd As Victim

Jayson Dallas Wesley Smith has been identified as the victim of a plane crash that went down near Brenda Mines Monday.

The 30-year-old Vancouver man was one of four people on board a Piper Comanche aircraft. Smith was the only confirmed fatality of Monday's crash. Three people have been transported to hospitals in Kelowna, Kamloops, and Vancouver with serious injuries.

The plane had left Penticton for Boundary Bay when it went down near Brenda Mines, about 30 kilometres west of Kelowna. The cause of the crash is not known.
