After a 175 years, we think it's pretty safe to say you deserve a party and a lot of designer goods. And that's exactly what Holt Renfrew is doing to celebrate their anniversary.

Designers ranging from Christian Louboutin to Kate Spade have created speciality items all in Holt Renfrew's trademark magenta colour.

"Holt @ 175" is a cross-country celebration beginning in September. It will include designer appearances, parties and, we hear, a major event for Fashion's Night Out on September 6.

Holts will even welcome Sir Elton John to the Toronto Bloor Street location on September 8th. Calgary will welcome Nanette Lepore; Vancouver will say hi to Sergio Antonini; and Montreal will be seeing Temple St. Clair.
