It may be a case of sugar and spice, as two more Alberta ladies were unveiled as the latest contestants to join the cast of The Bachelor Canada.
Michelle V. and Whitney, both from Calgary, are two of the latest contestants announced from across Canada, who will vie for the affections of NFL free agent, 28-year-old Brad Smith.
Michelle is wasting no time getting on Smith’s good books and is already dishing out the compliments.
“I think they have probably chosen the most amazing man in the world and we have the opportunity to meet him,” she tells bachelorcanada.ca.
“I like men with big personality,” says Michelle, adding that her search does come with some risk.
“My biggest fear coming on the show is that I will fall in love with someone who doesn’t return those feelings.”
No fear on the part of Whitney though. Why? Because she’s certain she’s got this whole thing in the bag.
“I’m a very driven and very motivated person, not to mention I’m very competitive,” she tells bachelorcanada.ca.
“I promised myself that I was not gonna go home single.
“I will receive the final rose because I’m confident and I’m competitive and I refuse to lose.”
The first Alberta competitor to make waves last week made headlines not because of anything she said or did but because of what she is.
Chantelle, from Sylvan Lake, is a pastor who is looking for love, although she said she already loves to preach.
“I really enjoy preaching and doing humanity projects, both in my local communities and around the world,” Chantelle says in her biography.
“It’s challenging to find guys that respect what I do.”
The inaugural season of The Bachelor Canada airs on Citytv and OMNI Television this fall.
