Clothes And Personality: What Your Favourite Colour Says About You (INFOGRAPHIC)

If you're always wearing black, it's not just because you want to look chic.

Wearing black could mean you're authoritative and timeless — at least according to an infographic by fashion website StarFashion.se.

The graphic lists popular colour tones and explores what they mean for the person who wears them. Some are pretty obvious: green (think the shade of our $20 bills) makes one appear wealthy or refreshing, and wearing white portrays cleanliness.

One study published in Glamour Magazine found wearing shades of red makes you appear sexier. While other colours like teal, rose and eggplant flatter every skin tone (that according to RealSimple.com).

What's more, our colour or shade sartorial choices change depending on our mood. In the summer, we tend to wear lighter and brighter colours, and, in the fall, our choices get warmer and darker.

Did I really need an infographic to tell me that blue means Ocean? What exactly does "Ocean" mean when it comes to personality anyhow?

" In the fall, our choices (of color) get warmer and darker." As the cold days of fall approach,
I usually choose warmer colors to cheer me up. As for my favorite color(s) my preferences
change. For the last year or so I wear a lot of different shades of blue and I often choose to
wear blue with green. Nature colors really. My favorite semiprecious stone is turquoise which
if you think about it is a combination of blue and green. My husband and I both share a
fondness for turquoise. Coincidence, I think not. As for what my favorite color(s) says about
me according to the colour chart. I'm a peaceful, environmentally friendly, ocean loving individual with a refreshing personality. " Yes, these are some of my personality traits but
I have many more. I like rainbows too. That's got to mean something.
