The large Patterson Heights stone mansion is an eye-catching beauty from the outside, hiding the fact that its basement – or The Dungeon, as it became known - is where wrestling patriarch Stu Hart held court and sculpted many of his children into pro-wrestling powerhouses.
The house, which now has historical designation, was home base for wrestling icons such as Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart, his brother Owen Hart, and other future stars, such as Chris Jericho, Christian and Chris Benoit.
The house fell into slight disrepair following the death of Stu Hart nearly 10 years ago but has been recently renovated, according to www.rentfaster.ca.
