It may be time to stop guessing at baby names — it turns out Kate Middleton and Prince William will name their child Philip if it's a boy.
Sources say the royal couple have already come up with a shortlist of possibilities, including the name of Will's grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, according to the Daily Star.
“The name Philip is in the frame for a boy. It will certainly have it somewhere in his name," a source told the Daily Star, adding if it were a boy, Prince William would make the final decision for choosing a name.
Earlier reports suggested other possible names include Elizabeth if it's a girl, along with Diana and Carole as middle names to honour both Will and Kate's mothers, according to Hollywood Life.
“We have a shortlist for both (a boy and girl), but it’s very difficult. My friends keep texting me names,” she said during a visit to Scotland last week.
With only a few months left in her pregnancy (Kate revealed her due date is around mid-July), Kate may have yet another thing to worry about.
Another report says Prince William also wants to film the birth — something Kate's not so fond of.
