Target Canada Time-Lapse Video Shows Store Built At 'Warp Speed'

Target’s Canadian invasion felt like it happened in no time at all. It feels even more so when you watch a cheerful time-lapse video of a store being prepped for opening.

It shows a location stripped to its bare bones, rebuilt and all decked out in red and white at "warp speed." Abullseyeview.com, an online magazine dedicated to the major retailer, released the video on April 5, the date of the brand’s grand opening for 24 stores. Locations had ‘soft openings’ in the month prior to fine-tune its operations.

What the video doesn’t show are the bumps on Target’s road into Canada.

Some shoppers have complained about empty shelves at recently-opened stores, and items priced higher than at U.S. locations.
