Emily Blunt's Odd Pink Capelet: 'Devil Wears Prada' Actress Covers InStyle Magazine (PHOTO)

LOOK: Emily Blunt's Odd Capelet

Emily Blunt is known for making bold moves in her career (think "The Devil Wears Prada," "Salmon Fishing In The Yemen," and "The Young Victoria") but her latest venture has fallen a bit flat and we're not talking about a movie.

The 30-year-old English actress covers the May issue of InStyle magazine wearing a pink shiny satin bustier and skirt. On its own, the dress would look amazing on Emily but a salmon-coloured capelet with a large collar resting on her shoulders ruins the look.

The magazine's stylists couldn't even get her hair right! Emily's gorgeous blond tresses are slicked to the side in messy, not sexy, waves.

Didn't the editors learn anything from Emily's character (also called Emily) on "The Devil Wears Prada"?

Blunt even admits that she doesn't put too much effort into what she wears: "I do see the joy of dressing up, like when I’m at an event that allows for it. But on a day-to-day basis, I don’t necessarily think about it too much."

Fortunately for us, her red carpet style is stellar (remember that gorgeous gold cut-out dress she wore at the Golden Globe awards in January?)

Perhaps her stylish husband, "The Office" star John Krasinski could help her at magazine shoots.

What do you think of Emily's InStyle cover look?
