'The Bachelorette' Season 9: When, Where Can I Watch In Canada?

Any Canadians Out There Watching 'The Bachelorette'?
ABC

We may have had a taste of "The Bachelor" here in Canada, but we haven't yet sampled the goodness of a "The Bachelorette Canada." For now, it looks like we'll have to be satisfied with the U.S. version of "The Bachelorette"; the ninth season premiered on Monday, May 27. You can watch it in Canada on City at 8 p.m. ET on Mondays, and on ABC in the U.S.

This season's Bachelorette is Desiree Hartsock, a 27-year-old from Colorado. Now relocated to L.A., Hartsock is a bridal stylist looking for love. She competed on the last season of "The Bachelor," vying for Sean Lowe's heart. After a disastrous "family date," she was sent home.

Presented with 25 eager bachelors to choose from, Hartsock looked like a bargain shopper who found an incredible deal as the men paraded in front of her during the Season 9 premiere. She recently admitted to HuffPost Live that yes, some of the men cry during the season, and there is plenty of drama to keep viewers entertained.

Despite the longevity of this show, its ratings are starting to wane. The Season 9 premiere had the show's lowest ratings ever, down 27 percent from last year's opener (featuring bachelorette Emily Maynard). Things may change once NBC competitor "The Voice" finishes, or when things start to heat up, so to speak.
