Kate Middleton can expect to receive many lavish gifts when she welcomes her first baby this July, but the Duchess of Cambridge may be a bit surprised when one particular extravagant present comes in the mail.
Celebrity jewelry designer Theo Fennell created a trinket so grand that not even Beyoncé and Jay-Z's gift to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's baby North West could top it.
Story continues below the slideshow:
Fennell made a jewel-encrusted, 18-carat charm bracelet for the wee royal tot which costs an estimated $15,200 U.S. But the bling isn't as charming as it seems; the bracelet also doubles as a diaper rash cream holder (which of course is covered in rubies.)
The luxurious gift isn't the only odd present that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are getting; The Finnish government sent the parents-to-be a goodie bag which included a snowsuit, a bath towel, diaper cream, a picture book, bra pads and even condoms! (Erm, it may be a bit too late for those.)
Stores in the U.S are even sending over luxurious presents including Fendi clothes, Dior booties and a Bugaboo stroller. (Does a baby really need designer clothes?)
Catherine of Cambridge's uncle is also joining in on the gift-giving, saying he will give his royal niece or nephew a present which will help the third-in-line to the throne become a Chelsea Football Club fan.
It seems that many of the gifts are very gender-neutral, which is fitting since both Kate and William have said that they don't know (or won't tell) the sex of the baby. So that means we just have to wait until the Duchess gives birth (which really could be any day now) to find out whether we're going to see a future King or Queen.
