Kate Middleton and Prince William are the proud parents of a baby boy!
The Duchess of Cambridge, who was admitted to St. Mary's Hospital in London in the early stages of labour on Monday, gave birth to the royal prince, who weighed in at 8 lbs 6 oz on July 22 at 4:24 p.m. in the same hospital where Princess Diana gave birth to William and brother Prince Harry.
Clarence House tweeted that Prince William was present for the birth and that Kate and baby are "both doing well."
Duchess Kate looked happy and almost ready to burst when she made her last public appearance at the Trooping the Colour event in June before she went on a maternity leave.
The future Queen of England wore pink at the event, which led us to bet that the royal heir or heiress would be a baby girl, even through Kate and Will reportedly didn't know the sex of their child. Guess we were wrong!
Kate and William's first-born child will be the third-in-line to throne, bumping down Will's brother Prince Harry to fourth spot, behind Prince Charles and, of course, Will.
So what kind of outfits can we expect from the Littlest Royal Heir? Judging by his mom's style, we have to guess that the tot will be decked out in a lot of neutrals, pastels and monochrome colours. (Although we're secretly hoping to see Wee Baby Cambridge in an animal print, like Kate wore back in June.)
But if the Duchess isn't sure what to dress her bouncing baby with, there are a few other stylish celeb tots she can take inspiration from. (Or she could call up her friend, Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton for a few ideas.)
