Abbotsford Hit-And-Run Leaves 17-Year-Old With Two Broken Legs

Teenagers Turn Themselves In Over Hit-And-Run

A 17-year-old victim of a hit-and-run suffered fractures to both legs, Abbotsford police say.

The girl was with two friends at a bus stop on the intersection of George Ferguson Way and Gladwin Road around 1 a.m. Saturday when a truck pulled up, according to a police press release.

UPDATE: At 5.30 p.m. July 27, three teenage boys accompanied by their parents turned themselves in to Abbotsford police, an APD news release stated.

The occupants of the truck began throwing eggs at the teenagers and, when the 17-year-old girl approached them to find out why, the driver accelerated, hit her and drove off.

Police say the vehicle was a white pickup truck with silver rims, and are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
