NDP critic Chris Charlton wrote the chair of the Industry committee Monday asking that extraordinary hearings be held to discuss the rules surrounding an upcoming and controversial spectrum auction. Charlton wants the hearings held before Sept. 17 when companies must make their intentions known and before Parliament is prorogued.
"It is not too late to examine recent developments to ensure that all Canadians will have access to the highest speeds at the best prices," Charlton writes in a letter obtained by HuffPost.
