The 50-year-old actor showed off his new blond hair during a surprise appearance Saturday night at the London Film Festival, where he honoured fellow actor Christopher Lee and presented him with an award for his legendary career. The father of two looked dapper in a black suit paired with black patent Dr. Marten's boots.
The "Edward Scissorhands" star snuck in to the awards ceremony to surprise Lee, whom he considers a good friend (he also starred with Depp in "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory").
Amber Heard's boyfriend is known for playing colourful characters on screen, from The Mad Hatter to Captain Jack Sparrow, so it was only a matter of time before he changed his day-to-day look. The Hollywood actor's new hair doesn't seem all that new though -- we're having flashbacks to 2004's "Secret Window," which featured Johnny sporting some ashy blond tones onscreen.
We quite like Johnny's new 'do, but then again, we think it would be very hard for him to look bad. What do you think?
