You know it's a good day when you see sci-fi royalty mixing with the comic book movie gods.
Nathan Fillion, star of the cancelled but revered sci-fi show "Firefly", attended the premiere of "Thor: The Dark World" on Tuesday and got to mingle with the movie's stars on the red carpet.
The 42-year-old Canadian actor posed with "Thor" stars Tom Hiddleston and Zachary Levi who play supervillain Loki and warrior Fandral, respectively.
Fillion, who is known for his classic red carpet style, looked dashing in a slick blue suit over a partly unbuttoned black dress shirt.
But underneath that suave exterior was the goofy guy we all know and love; the "Castle" star, who is set to guest star on "Community," made funny poses beside a motorcycle, leaning down and giving the thumbs up to the cameras.
Noticeably absent was the rabid Twitter fan's girlfriend Mikaela Hoover, who has joined the loveable Captain Hammer on many red carpets including the 2013 Emmy Awards. Trouble in paradise or was Hoover just busy?
Either way, it's good to see our favourite sci-fi hero look happy.
