When we saw that Kim Kardashian was auctioning off some of her huge designer wardrobe on EBay to help benefit the victims of Typhoon Haiyan we thought: "Guess we were wrong about her! Kim is so charitable!"
We were misled.
Although Kim's Ebay auction does benefit the International Medical Corps, whose team is currently in the Philippines helping in the aftermath of the devastating Typhoon Haiyan (click here to help), only a fraction of the final sales will actually go to the nonprofit organization.
In fact, the multi-millionaire mom is donating just 10 per cent of sales to the charity rather than give them all of the proceeds.
The money, for those who want to know, would go towards providing medical care, clean water, mental health assessments, temporary health structures, food and more.
Kim, who reportedly has a net worth of $40 million, is auctioning off items such as Chanel rubber boots, a Chanel quilted handbag (which has, at press time, a bid of $1225), a Celine blouse, Gucci leather patent boots and a Lanvin dress.
While we're glad Kanye West's baby mama is giving back, we can't help but wish that she would be more generous and donate 100 per cent of the proceeds to those who really need it.
What do you think? Should Kim Kardashian give all of the proceeds to the charity or is 10 per cent enough? Let us know in the comments below!
