In a hammer blow rant on Tuesday's Mercer Report, the CBC comedian compared Prime Minister Stephen Harper to a neighbour who suffered a "full-blown psychotic episode." Mercer reasoned that a break from reality is the only explanation for Harper's behaviour during the Senate scandal, either that or he was in on the secret deal between Nigel Wright and Mike Duffy all along.
