Christmas lunch may have been on the menu, but it was a little Mountie dressed in Red Serge who stole the show at a seniors' community centre in Vernon on Dec. 18.
Mitchell Parish, 4, helped serve lunch alongside six Vernon RCMP officers to approximately 60 people at the Schubert Centre, said a news release.
A photo shows the young boy and his mother, Const. Kerri Parish, charming some elderly residents.

RCMP spokesman Gordon Molendyk said he wasn't sure who enjoyed the day more: the seniors, or the officers and their young helper.
