Lays 'Do Us A Flavor' Campaign Comes Up With Brilliant, Gross Ideas (PHOTOS)

It's almost inevitable in this day and age that when a company launches a Twitter campaign for their product, it will get hijacked by people who are creative, clever, and very, very funny. That's certainly what happened when Lays launched its #DoUsAFlavor initiative for the third year in a row last week, and we're more than happy to sit back and enjoy the results.

The company has done very well with its inventive flavour pairings over the past two years, including Canada's Maple Moose (which garnered its own backlash when introduced, according to Canada.com).

So what did the people of Twitter and Facebook suggest as their preferred flavours? While some, like Fries in a Milkshake, spoke to rather specific tastes, others, like Student Debt, evoked taste memories from particular points in our lives. For that one, we're guessing it tasted something like Kraft dinner and whatever liquor was left over in your parents' booze cabinet.
