Ottawa Mayor's Reaction To Jab At Olympic Pride Flag Is Priceless

Posted: Updated:

In which Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson proves that he's basically the best.

Ottawa is among many Canadian cities that will be flying the rainbow Pride flag during the Olympics to protest Russia's anti-gay laws. When one Twitter user wasn't impressed, Watson responded with pure class.

Toronto is participating in the protest (for now). On Friday, Rob Ford said he doesn't support raising the flag at Toronto City Hall because the Olympics are not about sexual preference. In fact, he has even said he's asking the city manager to remove the flag.

On Wednesday, Ford said he doesn't participate in Pride events because it's just "the way I am."

Just another day in Toronto...
