Toronto Mayor Rob Ford made an expected appearance in the city's annual St. Patrick's Day parade Sunday, and Twitter users did not hesitate to mock his outfit.

While possibly mean-spirited, the reaction was expected given the mayor's reputation for drawing attention to himself in public. Parade-watchers also showered him with both boos and cheers as he passed by.

Many also wondered if the mayor was attending a St. Patrick's Day party this weekend, which could have been rowdy if he were to repeat his alleged performance from 2012.
