Fashion designer and Mick Jagger's girlfriend L'Wren Scott has been found dead, according to reports.
Sources told the New York Post that the American, who was in her late 40's, was found in an apparent suicide in her Manhattan apartment on Monday.
According to the Daily News, police say that Scott was found hanging from a scarf on a doorknob by her assistant around 10 a.m. on March 17.
The former model, who was known for styling Hollywood starlets like Nicole Kidman and Sarah Jessica Parker, recently cancelled her 2014 London Fashion Week show due to production delays.
UPDATE: A spokesman for Jagger said the singer was “completely shocked and devastated” by Scott’s death.
Jagger is currently on tour in Australia.
