A New York high school student claims she and her boyfriend have been banned from attending prom because he is transgender. Senior Anais Celini told PIX11 that school officials at Martin Luther High School in Queens told her that her boyfriend Nathaniel Baez's "transition is unconventional" and "not beneficial."
