The past two weeks have been all about Kate Middleton but April 21 is Queen Elizabeth's special day.
The monarch celebrates her 88th birthday on Monday, and a new portrait released in time to celebrate the occasion shows that Prince George's great-grandmother still has style and class.
In the black-and-white pic, Her Royal Highness sports a timeless pearl necklace and a dress by Angela Kelly, her personal assistant and senior dresser to her since 2002.
The ensemble is classy but still stylish, so it's no wonder Elizabeth gave instructions to the Duchess of Cambridge on what to wear during her royal tour of Australia and New Zealand. (The trick to looking fab lies in modest hemlines, natch.)
While we think Catherine has incredible style (she takes fighter jet style to a whole new level), she still has a long way to go if she wants to be as timeless as the Queen.
So, to celebrate Elizabeth's birthday, we take a look back at the top moments when Queen Elizabeth II was more fabulous than her granddaughter-in-law.
