It's almost Sunday May 11, and you're down to the wire. If you've put off finding Mom the perfect Mother's Day gift until the very last minute, we're here to save you.

While flower and chocolate shops may see crowds of people right before (or on!) the big day, this year we suggest going to big-box and department stores in your neighbourhood to pick up the perfect last-minute gift. It may not seem unique or personal, but remember, Mother's Day is all about the thought — though you may also want to include a handmade card just in case Mom figures it out (or your gift receipt gives you away).

So even if it's something small like a new piece of decor or a brand new kitchen accessory, here are 25 last-minute gifts you can pick up at retail stores across Canada. And hopefully next year, you won't have to run into this problem again. Happy shopping!
